A regular routine is the secret of success in student life, and I try to follow one every day.
I wake up at five-thirty in the morning, say my prayers and take a short walk. After washing and breakfast, I revise my lessons for an hour and leave for school at eight. Classes are held from nine to three-thirty, and I return home by four.
After a light lunch, I rest for a short time and then play cricket with my friends till sunset. In the evening, I do my homework and study for three hours, giving more time to difficult subjects. I also read a story book or a newspaper for half an hour.

Time is the one resource which is equally given to everyone, yet some make a masterpiece with it and others waste it. The difference is often a routine. I have learnt that a well-planned day is the foundation of a successful life, and I follow a routine for my own.
My day starts at five-thirty, when I wake up, offer prayers and walk for twenty minutes on the roof or in the field. The early hour gives my mind freshness. After breakfast, I read my notes for the day and set off for college at eight. Classes continue till afternoon, and I try to take notes carefully and ask questions in class.
I come home around four, eat lunch and rest for half an hour. Then, until sunset, I play badminton with my brother, which refreshes me after a day of sitting. In the evening, I study for four hours, in blocks of fifty minutes with short breaks. I give first place to the difficult subjects, such as mathematics and physics, and then to English practice. Before sleep, I write a few lines in my diary and review what I have learnt.
On Fridays, I take a lighter plan: I help my family, read literature and meet friends. I try not to waste time on mobile phones, using them only for educational videos and short messages.
This routine has brought me health, steady results and peace of mind. A routine is not a prison of rules but a map which guides us toward our aims.
