Outline
Introduction – What my hobby is – How I do it – Benefits – Conclusion
My Hobby Composition for Class 9-10 and SSC
A hobby is an activity that we do in our leisure time for joy and not for money. Everyone should have a hobby, and mine is gardening.
I began gardening when I was in class six with a few pots of roses on our roof. Gradually, I added marigolds, jasmine and some vegetables like chilli and tomato. Every morning, before school, I water the plants, remove weeds and look for new buds. On holidays, I prepare compost from kitchen waste and plant new seedlings.
Gardening has many benefits. It keeps me active and away from mobile phones. The fresh air and the green colour calm my mind, and the vegetables I grow are safe and tasty. It has also taught me patience, because plants cannot be hurried.
I also give flowers to my neighbours and teachers, and this makes me happy. I hope I will keep this hobby all my life.
My Hobby Composition Bangla Meaning (Class 9-10 and SSC)
My Hobby Composition for HSC
Outline
Introduction – Importance of a hobby – My hobby – Its pleasures and lessons – Social value – Conclusion
My Hobby Composition for HSC
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, says the proverb. A hobby is the ‘play’ of the grown-up mind, an activity chosen freely and pursued for pleasure. It saves leisure from boredom and gives the mind a place to rest. My own hobby is collecting stamps and coins, which I started in class seven.
It began with an old envelope from my uncle in Canada. The colourful stamp on it led me to ask questions about the country, its birds and its leaders. Soon I was collecting stamps from different countries, particularly the ones that Bangladesh has issued on national days, such as Victory Day and Mother Language Day. Today, I have more than four hundred stamps and about sixty old coins, which I keep in albums and label by country and year.
This hobby gives me deep pleasure. Every stamp is like a small window to history, geography and art. By studying them, I have learnt about the Liberation War, great personalities and wildlife. It has also taught me patience, care and the habit of organising. I exchange duplicate stamps with other collectors, and this has made me many friends through a small club.
A hobby also has moral value. It keeps me away from the aimless use of mobile games and bad company. Many great people, such as Albert Einstein with his violin and Winston Churchill with his painting, found strength in a hobby.
In short, a hobby enriches life. I wish to continue my collection, and one day I would like to display it in an exhibition for children.
My Hobby Composition Bangla Meaning (HSC)
