The Life of Hazrat Muhammad Composition for Class 9-10 and SSC
Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is the last Prophet of Islam and a mercy to all mankind.
He was born in Makkah in 570 CE in the noble Quraysh tribe. His father Abdullah died before his birth, and his mother Amina passed away when he was six. He was brought up by his grandfather and later by his uncle Abu Talib. For his honesty, people called him ‘Al-Amin’, the trustworthy.
At the age of forty, he received the first revelation in the cave of Hira, and he began to call people to the worship of one God, justice and kindness. The leaders of Makkah opposed him and tortured his followers. In 622 CE, he migrated to Madinah, an event known as the Hijra, where he built a just community.
Later, he returned to Makkah peacefully and forgave his enemies. He delivered his Farewell Sermon, asking people for equality and justice. He passed away in 632 CE in Madinah.
His life is the best example of truth, mercy and forgiveness.

The Life of Hazrat Muhammad Composition for HSC
Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), the last Prophet of Islam, was sent as a mercy for all the worlds. In the history of mankind, few lives have changed the course of the world so deeply and so peacefully.
He was born in Makkah on the 12th of Rabiul Awwal, around 570 CE, in the Quraysh tribe. His father Abdullah died before his birth, and his mother Amina died when he was six years old. He then lived under the care of his grandfather Abdul Muttalib and, after his death, his uncle Abu Talib. As a boy, he tended sheep, and as a young man, he joined trade caravans.
Even before prophethood, he was famous in Makkah for his truthfulness and trustworthiness, so people named him ‘Al-Amin’. He took part in the Hilf al-Fudul, a pact to protect the oppressed, and was accepted as an arbitrator in the dispute about placing the Black Stone in the Kaaba. At twenty-five, he married Khadijah, a respected business woman, who supported him all through her life.
At the age of forty, while he was meditating in the cave of Hira, the first revelation came to him through the angel Jibreel, and the mission of Prophethood began. He invited people to believe in one God, to give up idol worship and to be just to the weak, the poor and the slaves. The powerful leaders of Quraysh opposed him, and he and his companions faced boycott and torture for years.
In 622 CE, he migrated to Madinah, and this Hijra opened a new era; the Islamic calendar starts from that year. In Madinah, he established a state based on a written charter, which gave rights to Muslims, Jews and others. After some years, Makkah was entered almost without bloodshed, and the Prophet forgave even his bitterest enemies
His teachings were simple but revolutionary: belief in one God, honesty, mercy to the orphan, respect for women, kindness to animals and the equality of all human beings before God. In his Farewell Sermon at Arafat, he said that no Arab is superior to a non-Arab, nor white to black, except by piety.
He passed away in Madinah in 632 CE, at the age of sixty-three. More than fourteen centuries have passed, but his character remains a light for humanity. Muslims love him more than themselves and try to follow his example in truth, patience and compassion.

নবুয়তের আগেও তিনি সত্যবাদিতা ও বিশ্বস্ততার জন্য মক্কায় বিখ্যাত ছিলেন, তাই মানুষ তাঁকে ‘আল-আমিন’ নাম দেয়। তিনি নির্যাতিতদের রক্ষার চুক্তি হিলফুল ফুজুলে অংশ নেন ও কাবায় কালো পাথর স্থাপনের বিরোধে সালিশ হিসেবে গৃহীত হন। পঁচিশ বছর বয়সে তিনি সম্মানিত ব্যবসায়ী নারী খাদিজাকে বিয়ে করেন, যিনি সারা জীবন তাঁকে সমর্থন করেছেন।
চল্লিশ বছর বয়সে হেরা গুহায় ধ্যানরত অবস্থায় ফেরেশতা জিবরাইলের মাধ্যমে তাঁর কাছে প্রথম ওহি আসে ও নবুয়তের মিশন শুরু হয়। তিনি মানুষকে এক আল্লাহতে বিশ্বাস, মূর্তিপূজা ত্যাগ এবং দুর্বল, গরিব ও দাসদের প্রতি ন্যায়ের আহ্বান জানান। কুরাইশের ক্ষমতাবান নেতারা বিরোধিতা করে, আর তিনি ও সাহাবিরা বছরের পর বছর বয়কট ও নির্যাতনের মুখোমুখি হন।
৬২২ খ্রিস্টাব্দে তিনি মদিনায় হিজরত করেন, আর এই হিজরত নতুন যুগ খুলে দেয়; ইসলামি পঞ্জিকা সেই বছর থেকে শুরু। মদিনায় তিনি লিখিত সনদভিত্তিক রাষ্ট্র গড়েন, যা মুসলমান, ইহুদি ও অন্যদের অধিকার দেয়। কয়েক বছর পর প্রায় রক্তপাতহীনভাবে মক্কায় প্রবেশ করা হয়, আর নবী তাঁর কট্টর শত্রুদেরও ক্ষমা করেন।
তাঁর শিক্ষা সহজ কিন্তু বৈপ্লবিক: এক আল্লাহতে বিশ্বাস, সততা, এতিমের প্রতি দয়া, নারীর প্রতি সম্মান, প্রাণীর প্রতি সদয়তা ও আল্লাহর সামনে সব মানুষের সাম্য। আরাফাতের বিদায় ভাষণে তিনি বলেন যে তাকওয়া ছাড়া আরবের ওপর অনারবের, বা সাদার ওপর কালোর কোনো শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব নেই।
তিনি ৬৩২ খ্রিস্টাব্দে তেষট্টি বছর বয়সে মদিনায় ইন্তেকাল করেন। চৌদ্দ শতাব্দীরও বেশি পার হয়েছে, কিন্তু তাঁর চরিত্র মানবতার জন্য আলো হয়ে আছে। মুসলমানরা তাঁকে নিজের চেয়েও বেশি ভালোবাসে ও সত্য, ধৈর্য ও সহমর্মিতায় তাঁর আদর্শ অনুসরণের চেষ্টা করে।
